The ATN95E is the elliptical replacement stylus Audio-Technica builds for the AT95E, one of the best-selling cartridges in the history of hi-fi and still a reference in countless entry-level turntables.
The diamond is a 0.4 x 0.7 mil elliptical bonded to a round shank and carried by an aluminium cantilever. The narrower profile traces short wavelengths better than a conical, so the treble gains extension and detail while surface noise is left behind. Tracking force runs from 1.5 to 2.5 g, with 2.0 g as the standard setting.
It also serves the AT3400, AT3400C, AT93 and AT95C bodies that share the generator, and it is the natural step up from a conical stylus for anyone who wants more resolution without changing cartridge. Audio-Technica quotes around 300 hours of use, and the green carrier identifies it within the family. DOYMO supplies it on request.
