Hydraulic lifter that raises the tonearm at the end of the record and protects the stylus tip.
The AT6006R is a safety lifter that raises the turntable tonearm when the stylus reaches the end of the record. It stops the tip from running on in the dead zone of the vinyl and from dropping back onto its rest, two of the most common causes of premature stylus wear.
It works with a smooth hydraulic mechanism and a rubber lift bar that follows the arm tube without scratching it. The assembly accepts arms of different weights and diameters, so it fits a wide range of manual turntables.
It is the natural companion to a manual deck: fit it next to the arm base, set the height and from then on the record ends on its own, with no need to watch for the last groove. It also protects the record when it is left playing while you do something else.
