Audio-Technica ATR4750-USB — Omnidirectional condenser gooseneck USB microphone

The ATR4750-USB is a gooseneck condenser for the desk: podcasting, videoconferencing, online classes and reception points. The flexible neck bends to place the capsule in front of the mouth without a boom arm, and the weighted base keeps the microphone standing while the desk is adjusted.

Its omnidirectional pattern covers a full 360°, so two people on either side of a small table are captured at the same level, and the 1.8 m cable ends in USB-C with a USB-C to USB-A adapter included. It takes power from the USB port, which means no batteries and no external supply to lose.

The 50 Hz to 13 kHz response with -48 dB sensitivity is voiced for the human voice: full enough for a warm podcast sound and controlled enough to avoid a boomy desk. A monitor mount is included for clipping the microphone to the back of a screen when desk space runs out, and the assembly is solid enough for daily use.
