The ATR4650-USB is a small boundary microphone for the places where a conventional stand gets in the way: a meeting table, a videoconference desk, a lecture or a simple voice note. It lies flat on the surface or snaps into the included slim monitor mount, so the capsule stays close to the speaker without occupying the middle of the desk.
Its omnidirectional pattern covers a full 360 degrees, which suits a table where several people speak, and the 1.8 m cable ends in USB-C with a USB-C to USB-A adapter in the box for older computers. Power comes from the USB port itself, so there is no battery to charge or replace.
An integral clothing clip turns the same microphone into a lapel mic when the recording moves with a person, and the 50 Hz to 13 kHz response with -48 dB sensitivity keeps speech intelligible at conversational distance. It is a practical second microphone for streaming, calls and quick interviews, with nothing else to configure.
