The ATR2500x-USB is a side-address condenser for the desk where content gets made: podcasting, voiceover, home studio takes and field recording. Its large diaphragm and cardioid pattern listen mainly to the front, so the keyboard, the window and the rest of the room stay further back in the mix without extra treatment.
The microphone converts to digital inside its own body, up to 24 bit and 192 kHz, and reaches the computer through a single USB-C cable. A 3.5 mm headphone output with its own volume buttons lets you monitor the signal directly from the microphone, which keeps latency out of the way while you record or speak.
The body is 155 mm long and weighs 366 g; it comes with a pivoting mount for 5/8"-27 stands, a small tripod desk stand and two USB cables, USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A, so it works with a modern laptop as well as with an older port. The 30 Hz to 15 kHz response keeps voices full at the bottom without losing detail in the high end.
