The ATR2100X-USB is the version of the ATR handheld that plugs into anything: a cardioid dynamic capsule on one side and two outputs, USB-C and XLR, on the other. A computer, a tablet or a mixer can take the signal without an interface in between, which makes it a complete microphone for podcasting, streaming, video calls and home recording.
Digitally it records up to 24 bit and 192 kHz over USB, and its 3.5 mm headphone jack with its own volume control gives direct monitoring without latency from the software. On stage or in a studio the XLR output feeds a conventional console, so the same microphone serves both workflows.
The body is metal, 183 mm long and 268 g, with an on/off switch and a cardioid pattern that rejects the rear and keeps room noise out of the take. The box includes a stand clamp for 5/8"-27 threads, a tripod desk stand, USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A cables, and an XLRF to XLRM cable.
