The Focal Sopra N2 represent the quintessence of French acoustic engineering. These 3-way floorstanding speakers incorporate Focal's most advanced technologies, starting with the legendary pure-beryllium IAL3 tweeter, capable of reproducing the highest frequencies with unrivalled transparency and smoothness.
The 16.5 cm midrange driver with Flax cone and TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) suspension delivers vocals of astonishing naturalness, while the two 21 cm woofers with Flax cone and NIC (Neutral Inductance Circuit) motor provide deep, fast and perfectly controlled bass.
The Focus Time design aligns the three drivers on a sloping baffle so the sound reaches the ear at the same instant, achieving perfect temporal coherence. The cabinet's Power Flow structure eliminates internal standing waves, and the Gamma Structure base decouples the speaker from the floor to avoid resonances.
Each Sopra N2 is hand-assembled at Focal's factory in Saint-Étienne, France, to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
