Home Cinema at Home: The Definitive Guide to Creating Your Own Private Cinema
\n\nImagine enjoying cinema just like in a commercial screening room, but from your own sofa. With a good home cinema system, it is possible. At DOYMO we have been installing home cinemas for more than 30 years in Barcelona, the Garraf region and all over Catalonia and Spain. This guide explains what you need.
\n\n4K projector: the centrepiece
\nA good projector is the foundation of any home cinema. Brands such as Optoma, Epson, Sony and JVC offer 4K HDR projectors that rival the best televisions... but in 100, 120 or even 150 inches. At DOYMO we have several models on display so you can compare them.
\n\nProjection screen
\nNot all screens are the same. There are fixed, pull-down, motorised, gain and non-gain options... Choosing the right one makes all the difference. We will advise you so you choose the best one for your room and projector.
\n\nSurround sound
\nAudio is 50% of the cinematic experience. A 5.1 or 7.1 speaker system with a good AV receiver from Marantz, Denon or Yamaha will immerse you in the action. Brands such as Bowers and Wilkins, Focal, KEF and SVS offer dedicated home cinema solutions.
\n\nProfessional installation
\nSetting up a home cinema requires installation expertise: projector calibration, speaker placement, cable concealment, AV receiver configuration... At DOYMO we offer turnkey installation in Barcelona, the Garraf region and all over Catalonia and Spain. No-obligation quotes.
\n\nIndicative budget
\n- \n
- Entry level: €2,500–4,000 (4K projector + screen + 5.1 system) \n
- Mid-range: €5,000–10,000 (better projector, motorised screen, upper-mid-range speakers) \n
- High end: €15,000+ (native 4K laser projector, reference speakers, professional calibration) \n
