High-performance active stereo without an external amplifier.

The Cambridge Audio L/R X is an active stereo speaker pair: each speaker carries its own amplification, so all you need is a mains socket and your home network to start listening. With 800 W in total across both channels, a custom 28 mm tweeter and two 5" woofers backed by two 6" side passive radiators, the L/R X delivers deep, articulate bass without a separate subwoofer.

Its fourth-generation StreamMagic streaming platform includes Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Amazon Music, Deezer and internet radio, plus UPnP, Google Cast, AirPlay 2 and Roon Ready certification. It adds HDMI eARC for the TV, an MM phono stage for the turntable, line and USB digital inputs, and a subwoofer output to expand the system. DynamEQ technology and room optimisation tune the response to your space, with Normal, Movie and Voice modes.

Available in six finishes, the L/R X fits just as well in a home cinema room as in a dedicated high-fidelity setup.
