Wireless Hi-Fi speaker designed by Ross Lovegrove: 12th-generation Uni-Q with MAT, VECO and Music Integrity Engine, 110 dB max SPL, HDMI eARC and AirPlay 2.
The LS Luxe is a wireless Hi-Fi speaker born from the collaboration between KEF and designer Ross Lovegrove. Its sculpted cabinet is not only a statement piece: the organic curves are shaped to control diffraction and to let the driver work with as little interference as possible.
Inside beats a 12th-generation 6.5-inch Uni-Q driver with MAT, VECO (a velocity control technology that smooths the cone movement) and the Music Integrity Engine, the digital signal processing that keeps timing and dynamics in check. Amplification is split between a 280 W Class D stage for the low frequencies and a 100 W Class AB stage for the high frequencies, with a maximum SPL of 110 dB.
As a complete system it accepts HDMI eARC, analogue, optical and coaxial sources, and offers dedicated subwoofer outputs for those who want to go further. AirPlay 2, Google Cast and multiroom support complete a speaker designed to fill a room with music and to look good doing it.
