Cambridge Audio Duo

The Cambridge Audio Duo is a compact phono preamplifier that lets you connect any turntable to an integrated amplifier, active speakers or a desktop system. It accepts both moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) cartridges, so there is no need to change the stage when you upgrade your cartridge.

Its low-noise circuit delivers a signal-to-noise ratio better than 90 dB on MM and keeps RIAA accuracy within ±0.3 dB from 30 Hz to 20 kHz, with total harmonic distortion below 0.0025%. It includes a switchable subsonic filter to remove record warp noise, a 6.35 mm headphone output on the front panel so you can listen without switching the system on, and an external power supply that keeps the audio circuit free of interference. Its metal chassis and half-width format sit easily next to the turntable.
