SPEAKERS
Looking for speakers in Sitges? DOYMO keeps the largest high-fidelity speaker selection in the Garraf area, and above all we let you listen before you buy: floorstanding, bookshelf, centre, Dolby Atmos, subwoofers and portable bluetooth speakers.
A sound system is judged by its speakers: they turn the signal into music. That is why our shop at C/ Jesús 48 has two treated listening rooms where you can compare a B&W tower with a KEF, or Dali bookshelf speakers with Focal, using the same recording.
Which speaker suits you
- Floorstanding: rooms over 20 m², deeper bass, no stands needed.
- Bookshelf: small rooms or maximum detail per square metre — see all of them at bookshelf speakers.
- Centre and surround: for sound systems in a home cinema, the centre channel carries most of the dialogue.
How to choose
Room and amplifier first, speaker second: sensitivity, impedance, listening distance and the music you play. With those facts there is no «best speaker in the world», only the one that fits your home.
Brands, mounting and delivery
B&W, KEF, Dali, Focal, Monitor Audio, PSB, Cambridge Audio, Marantz, Bluesound and Loewe. We install speakers at your home — placement, cabling, bass tuning and calibration — in Sitges, Vilanova, Castelldefels, Sant Cugat, Terrassa, Badalona, Tarragona and Barcelona. For music systems see music systems.
Ceiling and in-wall speakers
If you do not want boxes on show, or the room is going to be a cinema, we stock ceiling and in-wall speakers: the Bowers & Wilkins CCM 8.5D for ceilings, the CWM 8.3D for walls and the ArtSound Hyde HPRO525. They sit flush in the build and are the basis of a Dolby Atmos surround system: see surround sound and Dolby Atmos.
FAQ. Yes, you can audition before buying. If a model is not in stock we order it from the distributor and tell you the lead time first. We ship across Spain. Call 667 41 59 87 or drop by the shop.

FLOORSTANDING SPEAKERS
Floorstanding speakers deliver the biggest, most spectacular sound. At DOYMO (Sitges) we have the best brands: B&W, KEF, Dali, Focal, Monitor Audio, Triangle, Elac and more.
We advise you on HiFi floorstanding speakers for music and home cinema, and you can listen to them in our listening room. We also help with placement and the right amplifier.
-
Bookshelf Speakers
Bookshelf speakers are the gateway to high fidelity: compact, precise and surprising for their size. At DOYMO (Sitges) we stock Bowers & Wilkins, KEF, Dali, Focal, Monitor Audio, PSB, Kanto and ArtSound, and you can listen to them with your own music.
Why bookshelf instead of floorstanding
Space, budget, and because in rooms under 20 m² a good bookshelf sounds cleaner than a badly placed tower. In exchange they need stands and an amplifier with real current. Large room? Look at floorstanding speakers.
Getting the best from them
Rigid stands at ear height, 20-60 cm from the wall and an amplifier that can drive 4 ohms. For film, a well-set subwoofer completes the system: subwoofers.
Where we use them
Studies, bedrooms, large kitchens and second homes in the Garraf area, and as surrounds in sound systems. We install stands and cabling in Sitges, Vilanova, Castelldefels, Sant Cugat, Terrassa, Badalona, Tarragona and Barcelona.
Visit C/ Jesús 48 or call 667 41 59 87. For music systems see music systems.

Centre Speaker
The centre speaker does most of the work in a film: it carries dialogue. If dialogue is hard to follow, the receiver is rarely the problem. At DOYMO (Sitges) we stock 23 centre speakers from Bowers & Wilkins, KEF, Dali, Focal, Monitor Audio, Loewe and ArtSound, from €279.
What to look for
Timbre match with the front pair, size that fits your cabinet or wall mount, and sensitivity close to your towers.
Placement
Centred with the screen, tweeter at or aimed at ear height. Never inside a closed cabinet or against the wall.
Completing the system
Front pair in speakers; bass in subwoofers; the full set in home cinema.
FAQ. A purpose-built centre is better; upgrading only the centre is the best value in cinema; tell us your tower model and we will match the timbre.

Dolby Atmos Speakers
Experience sound in 3D with Dolby Atmos speakers. At DOYMO (Sitges) we have Atmos ceiling speakers, floorstanding models with up-firing modules and Atmos soundbars from KEF, Dali, Monitor Audio, Elac and more.

Subwoofers
A subwoofer adds the bottom end: kick drum, organ pedals, film explosions. Set up properly it does not boom — it adds body and frees the main speakers. At DOYMO (Sitges) we stock 13 from Bowers & Wilkins, KEF, Dali, Focal, Cambridge Audio, Bluesound and Loewe.
Size for the room
8-10 inches for 15-25 m²; 12 inches for 25-40 m²; 15 inches or a pair for large or dedicated rooms.
Placement
Between the front speakers or in a corner, away from the wall, with crossover and level set on the receiver.
For the rest of the system see speakers and home cinema.
-
Bluetooth Speakers

Sound Bars
A soundbar is the fastest way to fix your TV sound: one long speaker under the screen that, with a subwoofer, transforms films and concerts. At DOYMO (Sitges) we stock Dali, Bluesound, KEF, Cambridge Audio and Loewe, and you can audition them.
What to look for
HDMI eARC (essential today), subwoofer included or separate, room size, and whether you also want music streaming built in (Bluesound is the reference). Placement matters: not inside a cabinet, not blocked by the TV.
Who it is for
Flats and small rooms where a full sound system with separate speakers and receiver does not fit. For real cinema, look at speakers and we will build the set.
Installation
We set the bar up with your TV, enable eARC and tune the subwoofer in Sitges, Vilanova, Castelldefels, Sant Cugat, Terrassa, Badalona, Tarragona and Barcelona.
