Integrated Amplifiers
The integrated amplifier is the heart of your music system. At DOYMO (Sitges) we have integrated amplifiers from Marantz, NAD, Cambridge Audio, Rega, Rotel, Audiolab and many more hi-fi brands.
We advise you on choosing the HiFi amplifier that best matches your speakers, and you can listen to it in our listening room before you decide.

Power Amplifiers
A power amplifier does one job: deliver current to the speakers. At DOYMO (Sitges) we stock 23 from NAD, Rotel, Classé, Naim, Moon, Marantz, Cambridge Audio, Nuprime and Bowers & Wilkins.
When it is worth it
Difficult 4-ohm speakers, large rooms, 7 or 11-channel cinema systems, or bi-amping.
What to look for
More than watts, current and 4-ohm delivery: an amp that doubles its output into 4 ohms is a serious one.
Completing the system
Preamps in preamplifiers; speakers in speakers; complete systems in music systems.
FAQ. Wattage depends on sensitivity and room size; it connects to an AV receiver's pre-outs; class AB runs warm and needs ventilation.

Music Servers
Want all your music lossless, in the lounge and in every room? Music servers and streamers are how high fidelity works today.
At DOYMO (Sitges) we work with Bluesound, NAD, Cambridge Audio, Marantz, Naim, Moon Simaudio, Classé and Nuprime. In the shop we show you how it works, how your own playlist sounds and what happens when you want music in three rooms at once.
Server, streamer or all-in-one
A server with storage for large FLAC or DSD libraries, a streamer if you rely on Tidal or Qobuz, or an all-in-one with a built-in amplifier. Check the platform (BluOS is the most widespread), digital and analogue outputs, Hi-Res support and the quality of the app you will use every day.
Setup and multiroom
We configure the server, index your library and check the network in Sitges, Sant Pere de Ribes, Vilanova, Castelldefels, Sant Cugat, Terrassa, Badalona, Tarragona and Barcelona. For several rooms see multiroom and high fidelity.

Network Audio Players
A network player replaces the CD stack: it reads music from your drive, NAS or Tidal and Qobuz and feeds the amplifier at high resolution. At DOYMO (Sitges) we stock 34 models from Bluesound, NAD, Cambridge Audio, Marantz, Naim, Moon, Nuprime, Bowers & Wilkins and ArtSound.
What to check
Digital or analogue output, genuine hi-res support, the control app (BluOS is the most complete), and AirPlay 2, Chromecast or Roon if you come from that world.
Completing the system
Power in power amplifiers; speakers in speakers; complete systems in music servers.
FAQ. No computer needed; hi-res pays off on a good system; local files play from NAS or USB.

Turntables
Call it a turntable, a record player, a tocadiscos or a giradiscos: it is the same thing. At DOYMO (Sitges) we stock Rega, Thorens, Dual, Music Hall, Audio-Technica and Yamaha decks, with Grado cartridges, styli and phono stages.
A turntable does not sound because of the box: it sounds as a system. Arm properly set up, right cartridge, correct tracking force, level platter and a phono stage that does not ruin the signal. That is why we set them up before you take them home.
What to look for
Belt drive or direct drive, arm and cartridge (80 % of the sound), a phono stage if your amplifier has no phono input, 33 and 45 rpm, and above all adjustable tracking force. See also cartridges, styli and accessories.
Setup and delivery
We align the cartridge, set tracking force and anti-skating and check speed. We serve Sitges, Vilanova, Castelldefels, Sant Cugat, Terrassa, Badalona, Tarragona and Barcelona. For a complete system see music systems.
Call 667 41 59 87 or visit C/ Jesús 48.

Preamps
A preamp is the brain of the system: it selects sources, controls volume and feeds a clean signal to the power amplifier. At DOYMO (Sitges) we stock Marantz and NuPrime preamps, stereo and multichannel AV, several with built-in DAC.
What to look for
Enough inputs of the right type (phono, balanced, HDMI), volume control quality, a phono stage for your turntable and home-theatre bypass so one power amp serves music and films.
Stereo or multichannel
Stereo for music with minimal electronics in the signal; AV multichannel for home cinema with separate power amps.
Testing and setup
A preamp is chosen by listening. In the shop we connect it to a power amp and speakers and compare with your music; at home we set levels, check for hum and label the inputs. We serve Sitges, Vilanova, Castelldefels, Sant Cugat, Terrassa, Badalona, Tarragona and Barcelona.
For the full system see high fidelity and music systems. Call 667 41 59 87.
